BEHIND THE SCENES
I gotta say. I had so much fun on making this remake which is Percy's Promise. I feel like this Thomas & Friends remake has got to be my favorite out of all the past remakes I made.
But I have another favorite episode remake that is the most viewed video I ever had which is called, Snow. That remake video is filmed outside, where there is lots of snow. Which it took me 3-4 days to make.
Anyways, you are going to see how I make each scene in Percy's Promise that looks almost like the actual Thomas & Friends episode.
Near The Beginning of the Video
I used the Sand for a scene where Thomas the Tank Engine is passing by the coast.
Percy being wet from the Rain
I used water from a water bottle.
The Big Green Piece of Wood
I actually paint the big piece of wood green. The big piece of wood was used for a higher elevation track.
The Blue Lake
Just a big blue cloth material. :P
The Lighting
I used a some kind of different looking lamp and I removed the top part. And I always use it in most of my videos even since.
Improving the Background Scenery
I wanted to make the scenery look a little more realistic. In DieselD199's videos, I can see the realistic clouds he made in his filming studio on the wall. So I tried to make look nicer and neater. The gray might have been too dark, but I don't care about that. The clouds improves the scenery a little bit more. I also, added hills. I used dark and light green paint.

What did I use to put under the green cloth so I can make a hill?
I used wooden blocks these days.
My Favorite Scene: The Flooded Field
I used some sort of big baking pan I bought at a garage sale once. The baking pan was very old and dirty when I bought it. It is perfect for a river, a lake, and a flooded field in a remake! (Yes, I rhymed a little)
Green paint is used to camouflage with the green grass.
The water is poured in the pan.
I used a plastic container to pour all the water in the pan.
How did I make the water brown?
With brown paint....
And a brush (to make the water in the whole big pan brown).
The small pieces of wood for Percy's firebox

How I make Harold fly high in the sky (Again, that rhymed)
A string that pulled him up on the sky. It's a little difficult to not make Harold spin many times since I want him to face towards the camera.
The Parachute that landed on top of Percy
The cargo came with TrackMaster Madge the road vehicle.
I used my finger to make the parachute look like it's falling down. I make the parachute look like it's falling by itself by not showing my finger. I used my finger because viewers on YouTube can easily see the parachute with the cargo (instead of just dropping it down) I used ripped tissue and small strings tied together for the parachute.
